This story just keeps getting better and better.
You've read about the MDP schenanagians involved with their cheap knock-off of the Tea Party here in Michigan here, here, here, here...oh, you get the point. Anyway, the first ax has apparently fallen. {Continued after the fold}
The Detroit Free Press reported this morning that local democrats are none too happy about their hand getting caught in the cookie jar when one of their own was involved in helping to create their own version of a Tea Party "Party" on the ballot.
The first sacrificial democrat was Oakland County operations director Jason Bauer. Mr. Bauer, as you recall was, um, shall we say, caught in a bit of an embarrassing situation when he was linked to notarizing several <strike>democratic</strike> "Tea Party" affidavits for candidates on the November ballot. My personal fav from the article was this little gem:
"On Saturday, the Democrats on the Oakland County Board of Commissioners demanded that Bauer resign from his job with the party, saying, "There is no place in our politics where deception can be tolerated." Funny, I was under the impression that deception was part of democratic S.O.P.? Who will be next? Stay tuned...
