I happened to come across an interesting blurb in the JOA-Press about questionable practices at our newly elected Governor's alma mater.

The University of Michigan has barred about 2,000 people from its campus or parts of its campus since 2001, according to documents released this week by the university.

The policy is now under review.

Those restricted from campus receive trespass warnings that come with a lifetime ban that can only be lifted or modified by the campus police chief.

    Remember those last three words...

Well, quite honestly, my main focus on this isn't really about the some 2,000 folks banned for life from an ultra liberal taxpayer funded campus. I'd wear that as a badge of honor. Nor is the fact that the Atheist Communist Lawyer Union going after the $760,196.00 a year wonder running U of M and living at the Presidents House on campus.  That's just pure bittersweet irony biting Mary Sue in the ass.

No, there is another U of M story that is going mostly under the radar also.  I would've never known anything about a perceived health insurance fraud, or worse, a cover up happening at U of M unless I caught in the comments section of that article.  David Jesse, reporter for AnnArbor.com has been covering a recent road to nowhere FOIA trail at U of M surround their "on medical leave" Kenneth Magee, who heads campus police.

    See, here, and here.

Frankly, to have such appearances of corruption happening at one of subsidized university's, it'd sure be nice if one of the fine folks over at MichCapCon would take a further look into this,

They seem to be at the leading edge of lighting fires under our elected officials anymore.

    I appologize for the... (none / 0) (#1)

...typos in this posting.  Dropped "our" in a sentence and used "talk" where "take" should be in its place.  Yah, "where" instead of "wear" too.  Don't even ask me wtf is up with ending a sentence with a comma either.

Guess I'm just tiring of being downstate here on Richardvilles' turf for the past 10 days.  Reeks of a Dingell voting creeping liberal Detroit SE Michigan.  Should be back home and back on track by the weekend.

When I get there... I'll  Kiss. The. Ground.

    Period.

If we cannot hold this institution accountable to FOIA, then it is not deserving of any public gratuity.
