Who are the NERD fund donors Mr Snyder?

    Raise the curtain.

GOP can still stop the democrats in Paul Scott's District

Unfortunately the MEA got their scalp when Paul Scott was recalled. Assuming nobody changes their mind after canvassing and there is no recount, it's on to the next election.

There will be no primary for the upcoming special election. None. The candidates will be selected by the Genesee County parties. There will be an appointed Republican and appointed Democrat chosen for the special election. That means there is a lot of responsibility of the local parties to make a responsible choice. People sometimes wonder if county parties are important. This is a clear reason why it is important to make sure good people get appointed by precinct delegates to go on the executive committee.

Once the candidates are chosen by the executive committees, there will be a general election set to fill the vacancy. It is set for the next election day, which is in February - same day as the presidential primary.

Now wouldn't be something if Paul Scott was replaced by someone who was much more hardline against the MEA.....

    This one isn't over yet.

I honestly believe hadn't Snyderholm taxed geezers pensions that Rep. Scott would've never faced a recall.

...repudiate the actions of their own party's standard bearer, or better yet tap on a candidate who will do that, they just might stand a chance of maintaining that seat in Scott's old district.

Sounding the red alert in February for people to go up to Flint isn't going to generate a lot of support if the republican party continues to insist on acting just like the democrats.
