    WOW.

Granny found the golden ticket. (H/T to grannynanny for this breaking story)

Or at least the latest news of our friends in Oakland county:

Michael McGuinness and Jason Bauer both stood mute at an arraignment this morning before Oakland County Circuit Court Judge James Alexander. The pair were charged under a one-man grand jury convened last fall to investigate claims that phony candidates were trying to get on the ballot to split the Republican vote.

Oh my..  How long before these gentlemen squeal on their Democrat chair Brewer?

Obviously things are under control. As they are at all times within the Democrat party of Michigan.

Bauer has a history of ..being under control.

    The story continues:
It wasn't Bauer's first brush with controversy. He was suspended from his job a year earlier, when interns working for him submitted fake letters to Republicans on the Oakland County commission, urging them to support a plan by Democrats to provide more health insurance for poor residents. The letters were purportedly from a West Bloomfield mother and a retired GM worker who didn't have insurance. Several party members said Bauer should have been fired.

    Only because he was caught.

Truth is a beautiful thing.  It has a way of seeing justice served.

    To be continued.

for finishing what Chet started.  If it hadn't been for the two of you this charade would have ended up on the ballot.  And I hope they do out Brewer!

In the mean time - just heard on local radio that the union goons protesting in Lansing just entered the capitol building.  I will try to keep you posted as I hear updates here in Lansing.

work - it is just starting to get busy after a long winter lull.  However, check out the pics at Lansing State Journal.

Right now it appears that the group that entered the building are a bunch of scruffy college students and they are carrying pillows and sleeping bags.  Shades of Wisconsin I'd say.  The kiddies have been bulking up on goodies from their Bridge cards so they can spend a couple weeks stinking up the place.

In case anyone is interested. (none / 0) (#4)

I took a walk down to ye ol' capitol and went into the lions den. Hippie fest, but nothing too crazy. Of course I also didn't show up to the party until about 3:45 or so.

As I was leaving, Schauer was talking about some "Blue-Green" Coalition.

I saw video on the 2300 news last night (WLNS) showing them trying to get in windows. Also showed them getting hauled out by the cops when they wouldn't leave.
