Firearms Freedom Act Introduced in Michigan Senate
As a preemptive strike against federal legislation or presidential executive orders, Senator Phil Pavlov has introduced Senate Bill 63, the Michigan Firearms Freedom Act. This bill is quite simple. The key passage reads as follows: A personal firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition that is manufactured commercially or privately in Michigan and that remains within the borders of Michigan is not subject to federal law or federal regulation, including registration, under the authority of congress to regulate interstate commerce.

I have is will the manufacturers themselves be subject to regulation by the BATF?

What about those who only deal in firearms manufactured in the state?

I also think that NFA firearms should have been included, rather than excluded, in this bill. That is one weak thing in this bill that stands out.
