Who are the NERD fund donors Mr Snyder?

    "She's Under The Floorboards"

    The gun that is.

Yesterday the were about 500 folks protesting at the capitol in Lansing in support of our 2nd amendment rights. Given the intent of certain lawmakers in Washington to limit our ability to possess firearms (YES - Registration THEN confiscation) we should be thankful for those who could break away and do that.

I am usually quite careful about making references comparing our modern day politicians to the evil which existed in early 20th century Germany, but I have to also be a little more alert when faced with the billions of rounds being purchased by our federal government and has a purchase order full of redacted information and  issued under a non-compete sub-part of federal acquisition law that permits the purchase under an "unusual and compelling urgency".

And it should make us feel better that the "manufacturer is the only one that provides the referenced part numbers for this one time purchase", right? Someone else notes:

" the DHS and most federal and state law enforcement agencies DO NOT use hollow point pistol ammo and expensive Sierra Match King hollow point sniper rounds for "training".  Anyone who knows anything about combat simulation training knows that you use the cheapest plinking ammo you can find, and this includes the government.  The ammo purchased by the DHS is used for one thing only; killing people."
At this point, I am not yet alarmed, but wary.

$4,643,040.00 spent by merely ONE agency that does business in the US, on 'people killing' rounds?

Nothing to see here? - continued below

By 1928, the Weimar Republic was preparing for gun control through new registration and licensing of manufacturers and re-loaders.  Registration was required for ownership and possession, and certain groups (Gypsies, as one example) that were untrusted, could not possess firearms. A The new law effective October 1 1928 repealed a prior 1919 law that called for the surrender of all firearms.  This allowed those formerly unknown firearms to be registered and identified.

It was Hitler's regime starting in 1933 which took advantage of registration.  Eventually, any non-NAZI was considered a communist, and was prohibited from arms ownership.

    It was enforced.

"It took about a month for the Nazi party to consolidate its power over the central government. On February 28, the Hitler regime persuaded President Paul von Hindenburg to issue an emergency decree, based on Article XLVIII of the Constitution (a provision passed by the Weimar republic), suspending constitutional guarantees and authorizing the Reich to seize executive power in any State which failed to take "the necessary measures for the restoration of law and order."

The official explanation was that evidence of "imminent Communist terrorism" was discovered in a search of the Karl Liebnecht House, Berlin's Communist headquarters, and that Communists were responsible for the Reichstag (German Parliament) fire of the night before. The decree was adopted after Hermann Göring, Minister without Portfolio and chief of the Prussian Interior Ministry, reported on the Reichstag fire and plans for Communist terror. It was claimed that, on the coming Sunday election day, the Communists intended to attack Nazi party members and "to disarm the police by force."

It is widely believed that the Nazis themselves set the Reichstag fire in order to justify the repressive measures which followed.

The decree authorized the government to suspend the constitutional guarantees of personal liberty, free expression of opinion, freedom of the press, and the rights to assemble and to form associations. Secrecy of postal and telephonic communication was suspended, and the government was authorized to conduct search and seizure operations of homes.

It provided that whoever commits the offenses defined in the Penal Code as "severe rioting" or "severe breach of publicpeace" by "using weapons or in conscious and intentional cooperation with an armed person . . . shall be sentenced to death or, if the offense was not previously punishable more severely, to the penitentiary for life or to the penitentiary for up to 15 years."

Since the terms "riot" and "breach of peace" could be applied to a protest march by political opponents, the mere keeping or bearing of a weapon might have become a capital offense"

History has a way of warning us.

The hype of the left, and those acting as mouthpieces for the left, would paint some of us mere protesters or those in Lansing yesterday as rioters, or some who would breach the peace.  Don't believe me? Take it from the horses mouth. The SPLC, a defacto public relations arm propaganda ministry of this administration's homeland security, makes the claim:

"Capping four years of explosive growth sparked by the election of America's first black president and anger over the economy, the number of conspiracy-minded antigovernment "Patriot" groups reached an all-time high of 1,360 in 2012, while the number of hard-core hate groups remained above 1,000. As President Obama enters his second term with an agenda of gun control and immigration reform, the rage on the right is likely to intensify."
    Hard core.

Michigan patriots on the steps of the capitol yesterday are haters. Check.

But Michigan's patriots are not yet sold out by their own state government like some others however. New York has just offered reward money to those who wish to become 'der Berichterstatter" (the informer).

"Just in case you didn't have enough reasons to want to flip off New York these days, I give you the GUN SNITCH HOTLINE, everyone!

Yep.  New York state is now "offering $500 to people who snitch on gun owners." "

Der Jude ist unter den Dielen.

    Too much? Eyes open folks.

Some others may be.  For a price.

Been saying it for years that folks have no concept of what an acquaintance is from what is a trusted friend.  The definition never changes: the acquaintance will be the envious snitch.  Funny how the SPLC sounds exactly like they get their talking points from that little commie residing under Hopgood's desk honing his teabag skills while trolling blogs on the taxpayers dime.  The Left never changes.

On a positive note... Guv Lickenpooper (D-Co) is finding out John Galt does indeed exist.  Guv Lickenpooper (D-Co) is not an isolated consequence of what happens when p!ssing off manufacturers.  Guv Cuomo (D-NY) received a face wedgie too.

SB 59.  MSP Firearm Registration database.  Take note, John Yob.... your self-invented Nerd persona is gonna have an uphill struggle on just that alone.
