Way to go with expanding Lansing, GoverNerd.
The new director of the state Office of Urban and Metropolitan Initiatives said Monday he plans to work with leaders in the state's biggest cities to help grow and invest in them.
Not afraid of Detroit? Who the Hell is this 'Hollins the third' clown trying to fool? The GoverNerd and Lansing Legislature abso-freaking-lutely fudge in their race card fearing skivvies at the mere mentioning of the words "accountability" and "Detroit" in the same sentence.
The salary for the newly created position wasn't immediately available, but it will be paid initially by the W.K. Kellogg, C.S. Mott and Kresge foundations and DENSO Corp., an auto supplier.
Ain't that just a b!tch... now our coerced tax dollars are going to eventually end up paying for the creation of a subtefuge department for some nobody figurehead clinger-on dug out of a subsidized LibTard indoctrination center in Detroit. Face reality, folks. When the teat of three Lefty Soros/Tides Foundation intertwined Kellogg, Kresge, Mott foundations and a Nipponese Chicom partnered Toyota Keiretsu monopoly funding runs out... we'll quietly be forced to pick up the tab.
With friends like the GoverNerd in Office, who needs Mark Brewer's Michigan Democratic Party?

Gov. Rick Snyder says Michigan must do more to attract and keep immigrants to improve Michigan's economy.

By the way, how's that back to 10.3% unemployment thing working out for you, Guv?

Yessiree, the dividends keep rolling in from that November 2010 Republican landslide.
Despite headlines, the 2012 Michigan budget signed into law on June 22 actually hikes state spending by $758 million. In addition, a Senate Fiscal Agency analysis released last week understated this increase by leaving out so-called "one time" spending items (for example, $25 million for film subsidies, a figure that some lawmakers are already trying to increase).
