    seems to work on people who don't like to analyze things and soccer moms (sorry in advance to all you MILFs who are smart).

    The problem is that the media (at least I've never seen it), as well as anyone else that gets the chance, needs to grill Granholm why it absolutely has to be prison shut downs.

    Hell, do it for the kids, even.

    Here's another thing too... if for some reason (I can't think of any) that prisons do have to be shut down, I bet they could lighten up the population really easily, without the safety of the general population being put at risk. Wait for it... that's right - release all the people that they picked up on drug charges.
