Today's Lansing State Journal's editorial (here) is the first editorial that I have seen supporting fair, reasonable recall rights for citizens.

Every other newspaper editorial board has agreed with every member of Lansing's political class. They ALL support "reasonable" recall rights as long as "reasonable" is defined as "impossible". The minute that a citizen actually overcomes the huge barriers to exercising his/her right to force a recall election is the minute that you begin hearing the government class bemoan the "abuse" of the right to recall. The only "good" recall laws are "impossible" recall laws.
