This video shows that one does not necessarily have to be a champion public speaker (Sorry Donovan, no insult intended) to get a point across.

    Enjoy the RightMichigan.com respect sir.

It's good to see more people questioning the guv's rationale behind this. The "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" defense isn't work any longer.

The clip at the top was was far better than this week's OTR where Rep. Olsen was doing his best jello impression regarding new taxes (go to the 14:55 mark).

It's my personal observation that oration skills have no direct relation to personal integrity. He brought out several great points which I've yet to hear answered, such as:

Where is the call to repeal Davis-Bacon, that Rougman suggested several days ago?

Why is there ANY monies going into mass transit? Does the guv actually feel that mass transit systems are even remotely properly managed here in Michigan?

Until the guv puts on his big-boy pants and makes some systematic cost-cutting steps and tough decisions on where to spend the money the state already collects, only then you can think about asking for more of my money.

    What'd he say? (none / 0) (#2)

Asked if he'd support increasing Michigan's gas tax, given that the state has the nation's worst-maintained roads, Snyder said no, "because we need to get efficient first" with the state's existing transportation funds.

Y'all blew it when ya had an opportunity.
