    Welcome to Scoop!

To help you figure things out, there is a Scoop Admin Guide which can hopefully answer most of your questions.

    Some tips:

    • Most of the layout is changed in "Blocks", found in the admin tools menu
    • Features can be turned on and off, and configured, in "Site Controls" in the admin tools menu
    • Stories have an "edit" link right beside the "Full Story" link on an index page, and right beside the "Post a Comment" link on the full story page. They can also be edited by clicking the story title in the "Story List" admin tool
    • Boxes are what allow you to write new features for Scoop; they require a knowledge of the perl programming language to work with effectively, although you can often make small changes without knowing much perl. If you would like a feature added but cannot program it yourself, ScoopHost does custom Scoop programming as one of its services.
    • If you aren't sure where to look for a particular feature or piece of display, try the "Search Admin Tools" link in the admin tools menu.

Well, You Can't Blame Him For Everything...

How many times have we heard this from defenders of Barack Obama as it relates to the horrible economic climate we live in these days?

'You cannot blame him for everything.'

    Dozens of times? Hundreds?

It is an excuse used by this administration in its own defense as well as by progressive media pundits who acquired all they know about journalistic objectiveness in a beer tent outside an NEA rally. Certainly the basic tenet of the comment is true...Barack Obama did not create every single situation that led us too far down this road to economic ruin.

And yet, such defense of Obama is rarely evenly applied by the literati to George W. Bush who took office in charge of a largely dismantled intelligence community just nine months before a bloodthirsty collection of Mohammedan adherents decided the best way to serve their God was to kill a few thousand Americans in New York City, Washington DC., and an infamous Pennsylvania field.

In fact we fiscal conservatives were alarmed by Bush's inability to locate his veto pen until about year seven of his administration, and we felt horribly betrayed by the "compassionate conservative" after we found out that his brand of conservativism and compassion amounted to a perpetual commitment to growth in government. No Child Left Behind and the prescription drug benefit are two far reaching intrusionist examples that expose Bush for the big spending Republican that he was.

But this post is not about Bush at all (he isn't still President, is he?) but rather about a barely wavering media and voting constituency of Barack Obama (as if they were two different things) who refuse to apply an equal standard to this President Messiah and his evil predecessor.

So, while Barack Obama cannot be directly blamed for everything that is leading us to ruin, we have to point out three things to those receiving their political education from National Socialist Radio.

A Message To Our Legislators - Beware False Choices

How to modify and/or repeal Obamacare - Don't get mad. Get even.

"He pulls a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue! That's the Chicago way" - The Untouchables

I'm not into the Chicago way, but I am Irish by blood, and we never stop fighting, either in politics or other matters. I'm not interested in online petitions. They are a waste of time. I'm interested in getting this damn thing modified and better yet repealed.

The problem with politics is patience and short memories. Most people don't have any patience, or follow politics enough to have long memories. There is a way to repeal Obamacare, and it's much harder than just having votes. It's a long process, and it will take years. It took 10 years just for the ugly gun ban to expire, and that's only with a sunset provision. Obamacare CAN be repealed, but it won't be easy.

Assuming Obama will veto a repeal, it will take 67 senators, and 292 representatives to repeal this completely. It is unlikely there will be a repeal until at least 2012 if that punk Obama gets the firing he deserves. It will take a majority in congress for any good reforms to see the light of day in committee. In addition to that, we have redistricting in 2011 which redraws the congressional boundaries. In most states, the state legislature and governor draws the districts. I don't like that system, but it is what it is, and we need to use that to our advantage.

Fighting to The "Last Drop of Blood"

    Hello All,

CNN reports that the Taliban vows to fight "To The Last Drop of Blood".  Sounds like to me to be reminiscent of the Japanese at the end of WWII.  If you remember the Japanese vowed to fight to the very last man, women, & child, even to the point of committing suicide either through "Seppuku" or "Kamikaze".  It is the whole reason why President Truman decided to use the Atom Bomb.

Some of you know that I really like the movie "Patton".  There is a long story as to why, that I'm not going to go into here, just know it has made a big impact on my life.  In addition to the movie I have done considerable research into "General Patton", his life, family history, and his fighting philosophy.  Although very controversial, Patton had one view that most agreed on,  "To defeat your enemy you must take away his ability to wage war".

Fact Check Proves; Joe Was Right! Obama "Lied"

    Hello All,

Let me be very clear, I do not in any way support Joe Wilson's outburst.  We are not British!  We do not yell out of emotion at the leader of our nation during a session of Congress, PERIOD!

However, his point, however ill timed, was correct.  Both the All Barack Channel (ABC), and the Citizens for Barack Station (CBS) have put the Facts on the table. From the fact check desk of Jake Tapper:"Illegal Immigrants and Health Care Reform", and "Does Joe Wilson Have A Case On Health Care, Illegal Aliens?"

Both assert that although there is nothing in the health bill giving anything to illiegals, it also does not restrict what they already have.  It also provides more funds to Medicaid, which pays for illiegals to go to the emergency room.   Not to mention some illiegals will be taxed by the "Non-Insurance Fee".

Point and Blank, illiegals should not be allowed to conduct any business within the US.  They should not be allowed to own a house, rent an apartment, open a bank account, get a license, or even buy a McDonalds hamburger.  I am not against them receiving emergency medical care (For Real Emergencies Only, as par the 5th & 14th Amendments of the Constitution), but once they are well enough they should be deported.

It is not fair to U.S. citizens and especially Legal Immigrants as well as those attempting to both enter this country legally and become U.S. citizens that almost nothing is being done to solve the illiegals issue.

    Hello All,

Below you will find a letter that I wrote and sent to all my Congressional Representatives concerning the President's Health-Care bill.  Click the video link  "Blue Dog Dems fight Spread the Wealth" and see for yourself what the real purpose of the Health-Care bill is.   Not to mention they are trying to add mandated Abortion into the bill.  I encourage all to do as I did, write your Reps and tell them you do not support this extra Tax the rich to pay for the Governments massive spending Bill.

Follow the Action Link "Write your Congress -Action Center-" where you can add your Zip and in just two minutes send an email to all your Reps at once.  You can cut and paste my letter or change it if you wish.  You can also write your own letter or cut and paste one that is on the site, "no writing required".

Obama's Emission Policy Kills 800 more Americans a Year

Maybe my invitation to one of the many social gatherings and cocktail parties hosted by President Obama and the First Lady has been lost in the mail? I mean I have been paying for the $100 single servings of the mighty delicious, oh so tender and savory "wagwu steaks" that Barry O delightfully serves to his VIP, red-carpet-welcomed guests. While this week's episode of The Fabulous Life on VH-1 did not feature Barack's cushy playboy lifestyle, I am holding out for the episode that will attribute him as this year's concluding rock star. I mean, the man deserves the celebrity lifestyle he was given.

His giving nature is what inspires me to be all that I can be. Even today Barry O put Mother Teresa to shame when he signed the credit card bill into law. In case you missed the coverage, his halo radiantly floated above his head, while the delightful harps played in the background as the rays from heaven shined down to gracefully silhouette his toned features as he delicately signed each letter of his name with a new pen. His generosity outpoured as he carefully designated each pen to a specific individual who aided in the writing of the credit card bill so they would have a token to cherish and pass down to generations.

But the blessings we have received from Barry are much more than pens to treasure. We Americans have received the charming gift of debt and now it seems with new emission standards we will also receive the gift of death, well at least 800 more Americans a year to be specific.

The News: President Obama made the following statement at a press conference in Turkey,

"One of the great strengths of the United States is ... although we have a very large Christian population -- we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values." [1]
